Musicians were outraged last week when it was revealed that Spotify paid Lady Gaga just $167 for streaming her single ‘Poker Face’ over 1 million times. Personally, I think Lady Gaga would have to pay me ten times that to play her single once. Anyway, I liked this project by Yuri Suzuki, which attempts to convey the intrinsic value of sound. The artist from Tokyo took apart vinyl records in order to make various nostalgic items such as a Scaletrix track. Check it out.
