If Two Inch Punch was the best soundtrack to last week’s bank holiday, you could do worse than to sample Fleet Foxes this weekend. After releasing a classic debut album which was the soundtrack to the summer of 2009, their second album is arguably more of an autumnal record. Sporting the same harmonic vocals and ethereal chord changes that made their first album great, Helplessness Blues sounds similar in presentation. However, this time around there are random inflections to be found on tracks such as the fiddle ridden Bedouin Dress, which is more country than folkey. Hit continue to sample the album in full ahead of its release on 3rd May 2011.
